Footprints

One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Scenes from his life flashed across the sky
and he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
one belonging to him and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life had flashed before him,
he recalled that at the lowest and saddest times of his life
there was only one set of footprints.
Dismayed, he asked, "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
I don't understand why, when I needed you most,
you would leave me."
The Lord replied, "My precious child.
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering
when you saw only one set of footprints...
That was when I carried you."

?????

Now i feel tired and weary and i have no idea why! I feel like I know where i am, but i can't know for sure. I cant know at all what God has for me and WHY and that is sometimes frustrating.

Why do i go through all THIS....why do i have to handle this

STUFF...why do i feel hurt when someone else is hurting and i might not even know that person or i might know that person but dont know exactly what is going on! why is that hurt there...in me?? all i want is to be still, be still and KNOW who i am, be still and know who God is and that he is here with me, be still and know and see God is beside me...feel it.

"BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD." -PSALM 46:10

I will be still and know you are God. I will praise you in the storm. I will NOT listen to the crashing waves. I will here to YOUR tender voice. I will shine for you. I will know you are here!
