Footprints

One night a man had a dream.

He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord.

Scenes from his life flashed across the sky
and he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
one belonging to him and the other to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life had flashed before him,
he recalled that at the lowest and saddest times of his life
there was only one set of footprints.

Dismayed, he asked, "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
I don't understand why, when I needed you most,
you would leave me."

The Lord replied, "My precious child.
I love you and I would never leave you.

During your times of trial and suffering
when you saw only one set of footprints...

That was when I carried you."

TRIALS...

YOU DO WITH IT WHAT MAKES YOU IT IS NOT A TRIAL GIVEN YOU THAT MAKES YOU STRONGER, BUT IT IS WHAT STRONG!

NEVER BOUDT THIS: "I want only the best for you, i will do whatecer it takes to get your attention, to draw you closer to meand to wrap you up in my everlasting love. YOU ARE MY CHILD, MY CHOSEN ONE!" -Your loving Father

Jeremiah 31:3- The Lord appear to us in the past, saying: "I have loved you with an everlasting love; i have drawn you with LOVING KINDNESS!!..."

WOW...It all goes back to the same thing. God does have a purpose for us, and it is to live for him and through many of those trials COME CLOSEER TO HIM! He wants our attention on Him and nothing else for He is a jealous God.

THE DEATH OF LAZARUS:

John 11- Now a man named lazarus was sick. He was from Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha. This Mary was the same one who had poured the perfume on Jesus' feet and wiped it with her hair. And since lazarus was sick they send word to Jesus. When Jesus hear this he said, "This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God's glory so that God's son may be glorified through it." Jesus loved them very much, yet when he heard Lazarus was sick he stayes where he was two more days. After all this he told his diciples Lazarus had "fallen asleep" and that he would go and wake him up. As the diciples thought he was actually sleeping and by this he would get better Jesus had been speaking of his death. So Jesus told them plainly, " Lazarus is dead, and for your sake I am glad i was not there, so you may believe. But let us go to him."

Your Parents get divorced, someone you love dies, your dad lost his jos...when bad things happen you struggle to understan why they happen. "if God loves me, WHY did he let this happen?" Mary and Martha, in this story, felt the same way. They didn't understand why Jesus had let Lazarus die. BUT in 4 Jesus tells us WHY all this happens: it happens so that God will be glorified. No matter how bad things get, you can trust God to work even the painful things in your life for your good and HIS glorification-wich is what life's all about!
